Section 3 Troubleshooting
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
Disconnect electric power to the tumbler before servicing.
Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumbler before servicing.
Close steam valve to steam tumbler before servicing.
Never start the tumbler with any guards/panels removed.
Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the tumbler is properly grounded.

Step Problem If No, then
1 Is there voltage to the COM terminal of the micro control?
If yes, continue to next step.
Correct wiring between door switch and micro control.
2 Is there voltage to the N.O. terminal of the micro control? If
yes, continue to next step.
Replace the micro control.
3 Is there voltage to the COM terminal of the airflow switch?
If yes, continue to next step.
Correct wiring between airflow switch and micro control.
4 Is there voltage to the N.O. contact of the airflow switch?
If yes, continue to next step.
Check for proper operation of airflow switch and airflow.
Replace airflow switch if necessary.
5 Is there voltage to the input of the stove limit? If yes,
continue to next step.
Correct wiring between stove limit and airflow switch.
6 Is there voltage to the output of the stove limit? If yes,
continue to next step.
Check for proper airflow and flame pattern. Replace
stove high limit if necessary.
7 Is there voltage to the input of the cabinet high limit? If yes,
continue to next step.
Correct wiring between cabinet high limit and stove high
limit.
8 Is there voltage to the output side of the cabinet high limit?
If yes, continue to next step.
Check for proper airflow. Replace cabinet limit if
necessary.
9 Is there voltage to L1 of the I.E.I. board? If yes, continue to
next step.
Correct wiring between I.E.I. board and cabinet high
limit.
10 Is there voltage across V1 and V2 of the I.E.I. board? If
yes, continue to next step.
Make sure unit is not in flame lockout. Replace I.E.I.
board if necessary.
11 Is there voltage across the coils of the gas valve? If yes,
continue to next step.
Correct wiring between gas valves and I.E.I. board.
12 Does the unit ignite? If yes, continue to next step. Continue to next step.
13 Is there a spark? If yes, continue to next step. Check for proper igniter gap. Check for proper resistance
of high voltage lead, 5 k to 25 k ohms.
14 Is there a gas flow through the valve? If yes, continue to
next step.
Check to see if gas line is on and that the gas line was
bled of air. Also, check for proper gas pressure.
15 Unit operational.
